Our 'Why'

Our 'Why'

We’ve experienced discipleship first hand by submitting to our leaders and mentors.  Through this, God has shaped us and deepened our understanding of the importance of equipping His people to be Kingdom Fit and Kingdom Minded in all aspects of their walk.

In the last 25 years we have seen a huge decline with church discipleship, especially in this generation and culture that we're dealing with.  If they had it at all, it seemed to be very low level or low priority.

Most leaders and pastoral staff that I've talked to have stated they have not gone through discipleship and that it's not part of their ongoing development.  Some statistics even show that it’s as high as 90% of leaders with no continued discipleship.  No face-to-face, small group gatherings or classroom settings with Q & A. Leaders can only give what they have received.  If they haven’t gone through true discipleship themselves, learning, growing, and being transformed, then they’re not equipped to effectively disciple others. Without personal experience in discipleship, they risk leading from a place of theory rather than real spiritual depth and maturity.  This is why Jesus invested deeply in His disciples before sending them out.  He spent over 3 years with them 24/7.

In other words, you make an impact 1 person at a time.  We've learned to submit to our leaders for our own personal growth and development, built trust levels & established valuable relationships that bear fruit.

Ministry isn’t about programs, buildings, or numbers.  it’s about people. Jesus didn’t focus on crowds for the sake of size; He invested in disciples, transforming lives at the heart level.

Quality Over Quantity:

  • God’s focus is on hearts, not headcounts. We can fill buildings but still miss transforming lives.

  • If we’re not truly loving people, we’re missing God’s heart. Jesus said, “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” (John 13:35)

  • The hard truth is that If you're not into people, God is not into you!

Discipleship Must Lead to Inner Healing:

Many believers are stuck in cycles of wounds, mindsets, and generational strongholds that block their victory.

True Discipleship Must:
✔ Break cycles of fear, insecurity, addiction, and sin
✔ Renew mindsets by replacing lies with God’s truth (Romans 12:2).
✔ Usher in freedom through the power of Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 3:17).

✔ Set the Captives Free!

The goal of ministry isn’t just church attendance, it’s inner transformation!

Jesus said:
"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me... to proclaim liberty to the captives and set the oppressed free."

(Luke 4:18)

"But thank God! He gives us VICTORY over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ".

1 Corinthians 15:57
