Our Mandate
Let's first breakdown the meaning of the word Mandate:
Oxford Languages Dictionary: defines the word 'Mandate' as an official order or commission to do something. The authority to carry out a policy or course of action.
Strong's Hebrew: 6490. פִּקּוּדֵי (piqqud) -- a precept, a commandment, statute, properly, appointed, i.e. A mandate

Strong's Greek: 3852. παραγγελία (paraggelia) -- an instruction, a command.

Biblical Meaning: A Mandate is a command or instruction from God. It's a responsibility that carries authority when we submit to Him and walk in obedience to His calling on our life.
One example is when God told His Disciples to make Disciples of all Nations. We are His next generation of Disciples and we are all mandated to do this in various ways according to our specific assignment.
We also have a mandate to declare what God is saying, & inspire people to fulfill God's Kingdom purposes for their lives. ​

Through various prophecies spoken over our lives through out the years, it's clear that we have been mandated to influence & equip the body of Christ including Leaders, the younger generations, young marriages, singles and much more.

Character will take you further than your gifts or talents
The greater the calling on a persons life, the greater the testing. In other words, the more God has planned for you to do, the more He will allow difficulty for you to go through. Why? Because God wants you to have a strong enough character to support the weight of your calling. It doesn't do any good if God elevates you to a position of influence and you fall, then you will take others down with you. We can see this principle throughout the bible from Abraham to Joseph and Moses to David. Your gifts can take you up but your character can pull you back down to destroy you. That's why the foundation of a Leader's character is our own responsibility, not God's.
