In the days leading up to Romeo surrendering his life to the Lord in August of 1999, there was a series of events and an encounter with God & satan that lasted 3 days.  His life flashed before him like watching a movie on a big screen.  All the crooked things he did in the past, what he was doing currently in life that put his family in danger and where he was headed in the future if he didn't repent & get right with God!  Romeo was faced with a decision to make that could have grave eternal consequences if he chose to stay on the wrong path!

It was very similar to the Scrooge movie called 'A Christmas Carol' & a 'Paul on the Road to Damascus' experience that changed the trajectory of their lives to this day and they've never been the same.  Choosing to follow Christ was the best decision he could have made & for the first time in his life, he experienced the tangible grace of God, what it means to be Born Again and live a surrendered life to Him... and they've never looked back. 

 

All Romeo knew in his life at that time was his bodybuilding career that was pretty solid for about 15 years.  He understood the discipline it took to become a champion, the constant dieting & training not to mention weighing/calculating 7-8 meals a day!  It was hard work and in his mind at the time it paid off.  Romeo won several prestigious titles including Emerald Cup in Seattle, Mr. California in the mid 90's, had guest appearances, fitness modeling, featured in magazines, tv appearances and he was well on my way to bigger & better things... or so he thought!  

 

Little did he know that it was God Himself that gave him those gifts & abilities to become a champion however, Romeo chose to glorify himself and not God.  In the Lord's grace and mercy, He transformed Romeo's life & his mindset when he chose to submit to Him.  He has called Romeo to disciple others and teach them about being FIT for His Kingdom, to get them Spiritually healthy from the inside out.  His passion is to Evangelize, help others know their Identity in Christ, as well as discover their God given purpose and potential.  To see their lives transformed as they walk in their destiny to impact their families and communities is what this ministry is all about.  It's time for God's people to take back what the enemy has stolen.  To be Kingdom Fit and Kingdom Minded requires a shift in our thinking and lifestyle.  If God can change Romeo, He can change anyone!
